Build bridges, not walls


Hello all!
I know there has been a gap since the last post and coincidently this post is all about the communication gaps that we have got in today's world. Factors like the advancement of Technology, routined lifestyle and many other excuses that we all give to just not to connect back to the people and share our thoughts with them.
So today let's just talk about how you can manage to maintain the connection with the people who understand you, your feelings, thoughts. The ones who are there for you in your challenges. Connecting with such friends/people is a great way to open up and tackling the mental and emotional challenges.

The problem is that we all, think all others are busy in their own life and hence no one takes the initiative to start the conversation. Recently this happened with me, one of my good friends was telling how he wanted to have a word about his difficulties in life but he didn't call me at all thinking I am busy with my own stuff. It doesn't matter who call's first, we are in a time where things around us are changing faster than we can adapt. Do you think that uploading a status for someone shows our wishes? No. Call them, send a personal message telling them why they are special for you. We have moved on in our life away from parents and family in order to pursue a better future/career. But staying in touch is really very important. Call your Bro who is long lost now. Share your word, ask him how's it going. 


Not always essential that it would be a friend around which you are comfortable. For some, it may be a cousin/parent/relative that you can pour your heart out to. Spend time with the anyone who opens you up and you feel chilled out with. I always keep connecting with the people with whom I feel better and also with the ones who feel better with me. Anyone may take the first step, the point being not losing out the touch. Use technology to chat, have a video call with them, a mail would be good too. Call them. Make plans, trips and create memories. So I would like to keep the today's blog short and give you the time to connect or say re-connect with the lost buddies/parents/relatives.
